Higher octane
E85 has an octane rating of around 105, compared with 95 to 98 for petrol. This allows the ignition timing and boost pressure to be optimised: a source of extra power.
We adapt your car's engine map so that it is compatible with E85.
Several parameters of the original software are changed, such as the air-fuel ratio, the injection flow and the cold start.
E85 conversion means adapting a petrol car so that it can run on E85 superethanol (a fuel containing 65 to 85% ethanol, depending on the season). It is done either by fitting a flex-fuel kit or by remapping the engine ECU.

As it evaporates, ethanol cools the air entering the engine. Cooler air is denser and richer in oxygen, which helps combustion and gives more power.
Thanks to its high oxygen content, E85 burns more cleanly and can help to gradually dissolve carbon deposits in the engine and the fuel system.
E85 emits less CO₂ than petrol, which helps to reduce your carbon footprint.
E85 costs much less than 98 petrol, which means big savings, especially for high-mileage drivers.
Ethanol is a biofuel made from renewable sources such as sugar beet, wheat and maize. A more sustainable alternative to fossil fuels.
